De Lowmel is UGG's antwoord op de vraag hoe een sneaker voelt als je hem van binnen als een UGG bouwt. Dit is een damesrelease: 1144032 is bij UGG de damesreeks, 1170750 de heren. Sand is een warm beige dat in dezelfde familie zit als Chestnut, maar lichter.

Waarom deze schoen

UGG noemt het bovenwerk zelf suede met gerecycled ballistic canvas en mesh. Binnenin zit 10 mm UGGplush van gerecyclede wol en lyocell, in zowel de voering als de inlegzool. De buitenzool is EVA op basis van suikerriet. Dat is dus een sneakervorm met de opbouw van een pantoffel, en precies dat maakt hem anders dan alles wat er verder in de kast staat.

Zo draag je hem

Sand sluit aan op beige, crème en bruin, en houdt het geheel rustig. De dikke zool geeft hem genoeg volume om ook onder een wijde broek te blijven staan.
