Uitgebracht in juli 2023, en daarmee een van de eerste kleuren die ASICS op dit model zette. De Gel-NYC bestond toen nog maar een half jaar.

Waarom deze schoen

Deze uitvoering heeft zowel suède als leren overlays over de mesh-basis, met ASICS-branding op de enkel, de hiel, de tong en de inlegzool. De tussenzool is tweekleurig, de buitenzool zwart rubber. De Gel-NYC zelf is uit drie ASICS-schoenen samengesteld: het bovenwerk van de GEL-NIMBUS 3 uit begin jaren 2000, de details van de GEL-MC PLUS V en de zool van de GEL-CUMULUS 16.

Ivoor met kleigrijs is warmer dan de crème uitvoeringen en vuilt daardoor minder snel op. Bij jeans, bij beige, bij bruin. Een kleur die het hele jaar door werkt.
