Dit is de 530 die je overal tegenkomt, en niet zonder reden. Wit mesh met zilveren overlays, en een marineblauw accent dat pas opvalt als je erop let. Deze uitvoering loopt bovendien twee maten verder naar beneden dan de meeste 530's: hij begint bij EU 35.

Waarom deze schoen

De 530 gaat terug op de MR530 uit het begin van de jaren 2000, een hardloopschoen met hoge kilometers. Over de demping schrijft New Balance zelf: ABZORB-middenzool absorbeert schokken door een combinatie van demping en compressieweerstand. Het bovenwerk is klassiek mesh met synthetische overlays, in wat New Balance omschrijft als zwierige curves en hoeken voor een uitgesproken hightech uiterlijk.
