Uitgebracht in juni 2024, en de donkerste van de reeks. Het zwart loopt over het grootste deel van het bovenwerk, met zilver op de overlays en Sea Salt als lichte tegenhanger in de zool. Waar de lichte 1906R's elke veeg laten zien, doet deze dat niet.

Waarom deze schoen

Onder de voet zit wat New Balance zelf omschrijft als een combinatie van flexibele ACTEVA LITE-demping, schokabsorberende N-ergy en gesegmenteerde ABZORB SBS-pods in de hiel, met het Stability Web voor steun in de voetholte. Dat de zool zo goed zichtbaar blijft in deze donkere uitvoering komt door het Sea Salt eronder.

Zwart met zilver werkt bij vrijwel alles, en zeker bij donkere denim en cargo. Dit is de 1906R die je op een regenachtige dag ook echt aantrekt.
