Waarom deze schoen

Deze uitvoering heeft het meeste materiaalwerk van de hele reeks: platinum suède op de mudguard en de veterpanelen, en metallic zilveren leren overlays daaroverheen. Daaronder zit de constructie waar de Gel-NYC om bekend staat, samengesteld uit drie ASICS-schoenen. Het bovenwerk komt van de GEL-NIMBUS 3 uit begin jaren 2000, de details van de GEL-MC PLUS V en de zool van de GEL-CUMULUS 16, met GEL-inzetstukken in hiel en voorvoet.
